Who we are

Elite Beekeepers began with a simple belief, that beekeeping works best when it’s done with patience, care, and respect for the bees themselves.

We raise bees with care and place them thoughtfully, believing that a good beginning sets the tone for everything that follows. Our work is guided by respect for the bees, patience with the process, and a belief that beekeeping should feel grounded, not rushed.

Our role isn’t to control the bees, but to create the conditions where they can do what they do best.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our website is here to help you explore the options available. To place an order, we ask that you get in touch with us directly so we can talk through suitability, timing, and the best setup for you. Submit a form request and we’ll get in touch.

  • Our colonies are raised and managed in the UK, with a focus on calm temperament, steady development, and overall colony health. We select bees we’d be confident running ourselves, rather than breeding for speed or volume.

  • Availability begins in spring, but exact timing depends on weather and colony development. Bees are livestock and develop at their own pace. Once your order is placed, we’ll stay in touch and let you know as soon as your colony is ready.

  • Both options are available. Delivery is arranged on a case-by-case basis depending on location and timing, and in some situations collection may be required. We’ll always discuss the best option with you before finalising anything.

  • It helps to know what hive format you’re using, where the bees will be placed, and roughly when you’re hoping to start. If you’re new, don’t worry, we’re happy to guide you through it.

Meet the Team

We’re a small, hands-on team who work with bees every day. Everything we do is shaped by time spent in the apiary, watching colonies grow, learning from them, and caring for them through the seasons.
